Kindness Day

rak_kindness_is_freeIn case you missed it, here in the US there has been an overdose of negativity. This weekend happens to be World Kindness Day and I see no better way to fight that negative by spreading kindness throughout your own communities. This special day, November 13th, is a global 24-hour celebration dedicated to paying-it-forward and focusing on the good.Teach your children, family, friends that being kind and genuinely caring about those around you is ultimately more important that anger, hate, and fear.

I plan to celebrate by taking food to a local homeless shelter this weekend, giving a neighbor ride for an important doctors appointment, and making cookies to share with friends/family at church.

Cannot come up with ways to spread kindness? Pottery Barn put together a wonderful little list of ways to spread kindness.

Go out this weekend and pay it forward with kindness! Feel free to come back and share your experiences with me in the comments. Have a wonderful weekend y’all!

  1. What a world this could be if everyone did one small act of Kindness each and every day.
Thank you for sharing and have an awesome day ☺
